Paris, France – November 22, 2024 – Following the success of the ATARI 50 vinyl released at the beginning of 2024, which sold out entirely during the pre-order phase, Microids Records and ATARI are proud to announce their new collaboration: the limited-edition ATARI Recharged vinyl, set to be released on January 17, 2025, and now available for pre-order!
The Recharged collection is a series of video games that modernize some of Atari’s most popular arcade games, adding power-ups, vibrant graphics, challenges, two-player couch co-op and all-new original soundtracks.
The award-winning composer Megan McDuffee crafted magical soundtracks for all ten Recharged games, which include Asteroids, Berzerk, Black Widow, Breakout, Cavern of Mars, Centipede, Gravitar, Missile Command, Quantum and Yars.
Megan’s 80’s-inspired electro pop music, which integrates both modern and retro influences, adds an incredible level of energy and interest to gameplay.
This limited edition, presented in a gatefold format, will include 40 tracks on 2 colored vinyl records.
